FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky National Guard’s 202nd Army Band recently concluded their two week annual training July 10, performing throughout western Kentucky .

The quality of performances by the unit’s Music Performance Teams was exceptional,” said Chief Warrant Officer 4 Gregory Stepp, 202nd Army Band commander. “Our band members really felt their mission was important and  to the thousands of attendees they played for.”

The unit’s Musical Performance Teams are segments of the whole concert band that travel and perform for separate venues. The MPTs are able to cover different mission requests and allows the unit flexibility when performance requests are received.
