PANJSHIR PROVINCE, Afghanistan — The Kentucky National Guard Agribusiness Development Team 2 checks the ongoing greenbelt projects regularly. The project aims to plant 35,000 trees in Panjshir Valley as part of a reforestation project, with 5,000 trees in each district.

Members of the Kentucky National Guard Agribusiness Development Team 2 meet with an Afghan worker in one of the seven locations where trees were planted in Rokha District, Dec. 19. The trees are part of a reforestation project.
