Frankfort, Ky. (Nov. 9, 2010)
– The Kentucky National Guard Public Affairs office was humbled to receive a package today from the students at Holy Trinity Parish School, Louisville, KY.

The letter inside read, “The students of Holy Trinity Parish School would like to extend their deepest thanks to you for your service to our country. Please accept these notes and cards from children in the 1st through 8th grades as tokens of their gratitude for your sacrifices on behalf of freedom. It is people like you who make our country great! Thank you and May God bless you!”

A sixth grade student  wrote,

Thanks! You are the BEST!
‘The bravest man I know is a man I’ve never met. He’s a man who risks his life to save a friend. Not only to save a friend but to save a nation, risking his life.’
Thank You!
